Position:

Modality: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Emergency Medicine
Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas
Setting: Emergency Department
Scope: Broad Emergency Medicine coverage appropriate for a critical access environment
Procedures: Full EM skill set required (per supervising physician scope)
Supervision: Supervising physician assigned
Documentation: Case logs required
Notes: Provider must be comfortable practicing autonomously in a lower resource ED setting

Requirements (Must Be in Hand at Presentation):

Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
Active Arkansas NP or PA license
Active Arkansas DEA with prescriptive authority (DEA/CDS required)

Board Certification required :

NP: ANCC or AANP

PA: NCCPA
Prior Emergency Medicine experience required
Required Certifications:

ACLS

ATLS

PALS

Case logs from the past 2 years

CME documentation from the past 2 years
Clean malpractice and license history
