Senior Estimator - Healthcare Construction

We are hiring an experienced Senior Estimator to lead preconstruction and estimating for healthcare, institutional, and commercial construction projects. We are specifically looking for someone with a strong general contractor background who has independently estimated hospitals, medical facilities, occupied healthcare renovations, or similarly complex projects. This is a hands‑on role with full ownership of project pursuits from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission and turnover to operations. You will be responsible for estimate accuracy, subcontractor coverage, scope review, risk identification, and competitive bid strategy. Responsibilities Lead conceptual, schematic, design-development, GMP, and final bid estimates Perform and validate quantity takeoffs across architectural, structural, civil, and MEP scopes Solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing, level bids, and confirm complete trade coverage Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, escalation risks, schedule impacts, and pricing exposure Develop value‑engineering options, bid clarifications, cost‑saving recommendations, and proposal documents Participate in client meetings, site visits, pre‑bid discussions, and pursuit strategy reviews Complete detailed turnover of awarded projects to Project Managers, Superintendents, and operations teams Qualifications 8+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a commercial general contractor Direct experience estimating hospitals, medical facilities, healthcare renovations, or occupied healthcare projects Proven ability to independently manage an estimate from conceptual budgeting through final proposal Strong knowledge of subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, trade coverage, general conditions, and construction costs Ability to identify design gaps, project risks, constructability issues, and value‑engineering opportunities Proficiency with estimating software, digital takeoff platforms, and Microsoft Excel Strong communication, organization, analytical, and deadline‑management skills Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance‑based bonus opportunities Health insurance and benefits package Retirement plan options Paid time off Additional company‑sponsored benefits Strong backlog of healthcare, institutional, and commercial projects This position is ideal for a senior estimator who understands healthcare construction, can build complete and competitive bids, and is prepared to take ownership of major project pursuits without heavy oversight. #J-18808-Ljbffr AlphaX
