Assistant Hotel General Manager

Responsibilities: • Support the general manager in the daily operation of the hotel to ensure that all guest service standards are met • Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed • Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas • Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the general manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support Qualifications: • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • 3+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required • Previous experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as department manager Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
