School Psychologist

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success within a K-12 school setting. The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct evaluations, and assist in determining eligibility for special education and related services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations.

• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff.

• Assist in developing intervention plans to support student success.

• Support students with behavioral, emotional, developmental, and mental health needs.

• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district, state, and federal regulations.

• Collaborate with school personnel to promote positive learning environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current School Psychologist licensure and/or certification in the state of practice.

• Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.

• Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred.

• Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment practices, and intervention strategies.

• Ability to meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Current CPR certification, health screening, TB documentation, and other compliance requirements as applicable.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
