The Automotive Technician plays a key role in maintaining vehicle safety and performance through detailed diagnostics, repair, and maintenance tasks. Working in a shop environment, this technician applies both manufacturer-specific and generic diagnostic tools to ensure efficient and accurate service. Independent work is balanced with team collaboration to uphold high standards of vehicle care and foster a positive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer-specific and generic tools
• Execute maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal vehicle operation
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and safety/emissions testing
• Replace parts and components as required to maintain vehicle functionality
• Test and verify vehicle performance after repairs
• Utilize specialized tools safely and effectively

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of exstensive experience in automotive repair & diagnostics
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• Valid PA Safety and Emissions Licenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in engine diagnostics, brake systems, and electrical systems
• Skilled in preventive maintenance and use of diagnostic tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and a proven team player
