Working in collaboration across a team of practitioners, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences.Responsibilities:Assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitionerEngage critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocolsCollaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reductionFoster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care teamAdvocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgroundsRequirements:High School Diploma or GEDCurrent Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C or successful completion of EMT Training CourseMA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 180 days of hireCNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date as determined by location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations does not require the MA-PCurrent BLS CertificationPrevious experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferredMultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital has served the Yakima Valley since 1950. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.04 - $32.99 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
