Scope of Position

This highlyexperiencedindividual, as part of theBackflow Direct (BFD)department, willbe responsible forassembling mechanical units, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to a standardized process.Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.Processes, packages, labels, and moves finished products forshipment. This position reports tothe Value Stream Manager (VSM). This role isonsiteand is based inWoodland, CA.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Aligns material and puts together parts to build more complexunits.
• Interprets blueprint specifications for eachunit.
• Conducts firstpieceinspection to adhere to quality standards.
• Packages and labels product following standard procedure.
• Technical expert andhelps resolvesproduction issues.
• Supports new product initiatives.
• Trainsdepartmentemployees.
• Understands and engages in department metrics.
• Proficient in scrap outprocedures.
• Expert atall required equipment setups.
• Accountable for production schedule within cell.
• Proficient within applicable computer programs and scanning operations.
• Expert in all Standard Operating Procedures for applicable department/cell.
• Exceeds productivity expectations.
• Advancedunderstanding of department specific tools and measuring equipment.
• Sustains inventory and parts replenishment system.
• Participates in department meetings effectively.
• Completes industrial lift truck certifications(as needed).
• Collaborate effectively with all team members across departments.
• Helps support other department functions as needed.
• Help create andmaintaina positive work environment.
• Understand and abide by all company safety policies.
• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor or Company management.
• Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)

RequiredQualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 4+years ofgeneral assembly experience
• Understanding ofand adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
• Must successfullyestablishemployment eligibility and satisfactorily complete backgroundchecks andrequiredpre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You willbe requiredto work at the Company's location inWoodland, California.Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilitiesrequiredfor this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to stand forlong periodsof time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to50pounds.

• Ability to physically move aroundmanufacturingfloor.
• Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.

Pay Range

The expected hourly range for this position is $19.00-$22.00. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
