As an Inventory Control Supervisor in our Wausau, WI plant, you will lead a team focused on maintaining inventory integrity while partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Procurement, Finance, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality. Together, you will help ensure production runs smoothly and support our broader mission of delivering sustainable biological solutions to the world.The Role & Your ImpactIn this role, you will combine leadership, operational expertise, and collaboration to drive inventory accuracy and material availability. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse control processes and supporting production requirements.Key responsibilities include:Partnering cross-functionally with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Procurement, Finance, and Quality to ensure inventory accuracy and material availabilityLeading and supporting Material Handlers across multiple shifts, ensuring seamless inventory control operationsDriving inventory cycle counting activities in collaboration with FinanceSupervising inventory transactions, audits, and warehouse control processesSupporting continuous improvement efforts to enhance inventory management practicesWhat You’ll Need to Be SuccessfulTo succeed in this role, you should bring a strong foundation in inventory control and leadership within a warehouse or manufacturing environment:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experienceExperience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain environmentsWorking knowledge of inventory management systems and principlesStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems (SAP preferred)Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsValid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles (including straight truck)Forklift experienceAdditional Skills & Interests We ValueContinuous improvement mindset and ability to identify process gapsExperience supporting audits, cycle counting, or financial inventory processesKnowledge of Sanitary Transportation RegulationsDemonstrated leadership and collaboration across diverse teamsExperience working in cross-functional manufacturing environmentsWhat We OfferAt Novonesis, you’ll be part of a collaborative and purpose-driven organization where your work makes a real impact.
