The Assistant Manager plays a key role in bringing the Via 313 experience to life, leading with hospitality, supporting the team in all of our food trailers, and helping drive service, sales, and profitability.

This is a hands-on leadership role. Assistant Managers actively work alongside the team in daily operations, including kitchen execution, while supporting the entire management team in running successful food trailers. You'll coach, motivate, and develop team members while continuing to grow your own skills as a leader. We run on a crew of 15 - 25 committed team members, with 2 - 8 people scheduled on each shift per trailer, depending on the day of the week. You will have fun as you rotate between the 3 trailers and 1 food truck we have operating :) (Star Bar, St Elmo's Brewery, Armadillo Den, and Mercer St Taproom)

What you'll do:

• Lead shifts with a strong focus on hospitality, quality, and speed of service
• Support daily restaurant operations across all food trailers
• Coach, train, and develop team members through hands-on leadership
• Help meet service, sales, and cost goals
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and energetic team culture
• Serve as a brand ambassador for Via 313 in the restaurant and local community

Who We Are

No one would have pegged the two brothers from a hard-working, blue-collar area of Detroit for restaurant owners, but that's exactly what they are. The pizza at Via 313 is inspired by traditional Detroit-Style pies (Cloverleaf, Buddy's, Loui's, Niki's) and the best traditional pizzas in the region.

Via 313 via meaning "by way of" and 313 being the area code of Detroit. By way of Detroit. Our founders, Brandon and Zane Hunt, are born and bred scions of the Motor City, and have brought with them the best of their hometown. Via 313 is steeped in a deep sense of place, and we'd like you to feel at home.

On December 8, 2011, the Hunts opened Via 313 Pizza out of a small & nondescript trailer on East 6th and Waller with the dream of bringing Detroit-style pizza to people from all over.
