About the Role:

Medders Construction Co Inc is looking for a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team in La Porte, TX. Responsibilities:

Plan, install, and maintain electrical systems for commercial and residential construction projects

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations

Supervise and mentor journeyman and apprentice electricians on job sites

Ensure all electrical work meets NEC codes, local regulations, and safety standards

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and inspectors throughout project lifecycle

Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently and safely

Conduct inspections and quality control checks on completed electrical work

Requirements:

Valid Texas Master Electrician license required

5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in a construction environment

Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes

Proven experience supervising and leading electrical crews

Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and wiring diagrams

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and professional demeanor on job sites

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
