Position Overview
Join a sophisticated disputes team handling construction claims matters from pre-litigation through resolution. This role is ideal for an attorney seeking high-level work without the burnout of BigLaw billables, with flexibility and ownership over cases.

Known for handling high-exposure matters, including $100M+ claims
Strong reputation in arbitration (AAA/JAMS) and high-stakes litigation

Responsibilities
Handle construction claims cases (delay, disruption, payment disputes)
Manage matters across state court, arbitration (AAA/JAMS), and federal/pre-litigation venues
Draft substantive motions (motions to compel, motions in limine, MSJs)
Take and defend depositions
Oversee discovery strategy and execution
Analyze construction and government contracts, liens, and claims entitlement
Collaborate with experts on delay and damages analysis

Compensation
$225,000 – $300,000 base salary (DOE)
Competitive bonus plan based on performance

Work Plan
Hybrid: 1 day onsite in West Los Angeles, 4 days remote

4+ years of litigation experience (construction claims strongly preferred)
Experience with law & motion and depositions
