Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager

Overview Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Manager – Home Health. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am–5:00pm with on‑call rotation approximately one weekend every two months. Agency: The OSU Wexner Medical Center Home Care. HYBRID OPTION – 3 days in office and 2 days work from home after 90 days. The ideal candidate is a current RN with a minimum of three years of experience in an acute care setting. Home‑health experience is highly desired. Responsibilities Operations – Ensure Start of Care compliance and monitor outcome metrics. Participate in on‑call rotation and staff patient assignments to manage after‑hour teams. Process Complaint Workflow – Report staffing trends, neglect, abuse, or theft to the Administrator for resolution and follow‑up. Patient Care – Complete patient visits as needed and address patient issues. Budget – Manage costs, monitor supply usage, overtime, staffing, bonuses, and visits per episode. Hiring and Training – Select, onboard, and train staff. Collaboration – Work with intake teams, provide daily direction, manage referral volume based on staffing availability, and maintain positive relationships with referral sources. Supervision – Oversee liaison and clinical staff, ensure timely charting, identify education needs, and manage on‑call, PTO, call‑offs, and weekly productivity reviews. Minimize Patient Risk – Ensure quality and safe delivery of home‑health services. Policies – Review clinical documentation and stay current on Medicare, federal, insurance, company, and hospital guidelines and protocols. Requirements Current RN or PT license in the state of employment. Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an RN or PT in an acute care setting.
