Duties
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from box trucks and other commercial vehicles using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when certified.
- Help ensure accurate delivery routes by supporting route driving activities and verifying delivery orders.
- Safely load, unload, and move heavy items, including boxes and pallets, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Support drivers in navigating routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with recipients during deliveries, addressing questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area and delivery vehicle interior.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as load & unload activities, stock checks, and documentation accuracy.
- Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is required
- Experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods; physical stamina is necessary.
- Familiarity with forklift operation or pallet jacks is advantageous; certification is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols during load & unload activities and route driving.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer interactions.
- Must pass background screening
