What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery in the CVOR unit
• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain patient safety and ensure adherence to hospital protocols and standards
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions during procedures
• Assist in emergency responses as needed within the CVOR setting

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR nursing experience
• Strong intraoperative nursing skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Preferred:

• Experience with complex cardiovascular surgeries
• Ability to adapt to emergency team assignments when needed
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
