Packaging Operations Operator 1

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform finished product packaging to meet customer, internal, and clinical demand
Ensure packaging is completed per procedures and quality specifications
Inspect in-process packaging and components; remove defective products/materials
Maintain accurate documentation (device history records, inventory counts)
Perform basic math calculations to complete batch records
Assist with inventory counting activities
Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions/observations
Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and equipment
Follow PPE and gowning/contamination control requirements
Handle hazardous waste as appropriate (cleaning solution only - flammable alcohol solution)

Experience Required

0-5 years overall
Minimum 6 months of industry work experience
GMP manufacturing experience a plus (not required)

Skills & Certifications

Strong attention to detail
Good documentation practices
Basic mathematical/calculation skills
Familiarity with computers and general business software
Ability to work in a team environment
Flexibility for static/rotating shifts and overtime
Ability to read, understand, and follow documented procedures

Eligibilities & qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Background check must be fully cleared before starting (no exceptions)
No drug screening required
Must be flexible for overtime as needed
