Responsibilities Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers. Perform 360‑degree inspections from attics to crawlspaces, solving problems and building trusted relationships to ensure homes and families are protected. Listen to customer needs and clearly explain practical solutions, gaining trust and confidence. Serve as a problem solver by utilizing in‑depth training to decide on the best pest solution for each customer’s needs. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and using assigned leads provided by a robust advertising budget. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home. Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing questions, explaining the process, and setting expectations. Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company will pay). Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers. Work Environment Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Willing to work in various weather conditions.
