We are seeking a Claims Administrator to join the company's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and insurance partners to manage and resolve Workers' Compensation claims. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills to support claim administration, employee status tracking, cost management, and successful claim resolution.

As a Claims Administrator, you will support the administration and coordination of Workers' Compensation claims from initial notification through closure. You will work closely with internal business partners, safety teams, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers to ensure accurate documentation, timely communication, and effective claim management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the intake, evaluation, investigation, documentation, communication, and tracking of Workers' Compensation injury claims.
• Partner with third-party claims administrators (TPAs) to support exposure and coverage determinations, cost estimates, and case management activities.
• Coordinate claim activities throughout the claim lifecycle, from notification to resolution.
• Maintain detailed claim records and provide regular updates regarding employee status, medical appointments, work restrictions, and return-to-work opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize claim exposure and reduce overall claim costs.
• Communicate claim notifications, updates, and findings to stakeholders including Safety, Operations, Finance, Risk Management, Legal, and Administrative teams.
• Gather and maintain required documentation, records, statements, and regulatory information related to claims and incidents.
• Prepare reports and documentation to support claim management processes and organizational objectives.
• Work independently and collaboratively to achieve team goals while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of administrative or related professional experience.
• Postsecondary education or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience supporting or administering Workers' Compensation claims.
• Knowledge of insurance claims processes, claim documentation, and return-to-work programs.
• Experience working in a field service, manufacturing, industrial, or operations-focused organization.
• Familiarity with third-party claims administrators (TPAs) and claims management systems.
