Job Title: Travel RN - Med Surg Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - BLS certification - ACLS certification - Basic EKG interpretation Description: This is a travel position for an RN specializing in Med Surg. The unit typically has 12 beds and features a collaborative staff environment. The night shift includes 2 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT), and 1 float Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC). The patient ratio is 6:1. Familiarity with Meditech is preferred but not required. Candidates should embody compassion, motivation, and a collaborative spirit. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs. Staff is expected to arrive on time for huddles and notify management of call-ins at least 2 hours prior to the start of a shift. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend.
