Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Experience working with elementary caseloads preferred

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Differentiate instruction and utilize specialized teaching methods to foster student success
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support professionals to ensure comprehensive student support
• Monitor and track student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate documentation
• Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere conducive to learning for all students
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
