Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for obstetric patients across Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn care, following unit protocols.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret monitoring data, and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including assessment, pain management, and postpartum recovery support.
- Administer medications, maintain patient safety, and document care in the Epic EMR or equivalent system.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (physicians, neonatology, anesthesia, lactation consultants) to coordinate patient care and ensure quality outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and post-discharge planning; prepare for handoffs at shift change.

Requirements
- 1 year of LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, Newborn) experience
- AHA BLS and NRP certifications
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Ability to float to Med-Surg and ED units as needed
- Eligibility to work in the United States and availability to start on 08/10/2026 for a 16-week assignment
