About the Position:
\nOur client, a premier Chicago law firm, is seeking a corporate attorney to join as a partner. The firm handles a broad range of work, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, and general corporate counseling for middle-market companies in a variety of industries.

\n \nResponsibilities:
\n· Advise middle-market businesses, private equity sponsors, family-owned companies, and individual entrepreneurs on a broad mix of transactional and corporate governance work
\n· Lead M&A engagements spanning industries such as food & beverage, industrial manufacturing, professional services, and cannabis
\n· Manage complex deal work including acquisitions, divestitures, ESOP transactions, and joint ventures
\n· Handle corporate restructurings, sophisticated commercial agreements, private placements, and general corporate counseling
\n \nRequired Qualifications:
\n· 9+ years of M&A experience, including private company deals and private equity transactions
\n· Background counseling middle-market clients on core corporate matters, including governance, commercial agreements, and LLC/shareholder arrangements
\n· Experience with private securities offerings, joint ventures, fund formation, and alternative practice structures is a plus
\n \nLocation:
\nChicago, IL (Hybrid) or Remote
\n \nCompensation:
\nThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $360,000 - $425,000.
