Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will operate machines and perform tasks related to wood processing for the carpentry industry. You will work on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available. This role involves standing at your station, measuring, cutting, treating, and drying wood parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines to cut and treat wood products for the carpentry industry.
• Stand at your machine station and handle wood parts weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Rack, dip, and treat wood parts as per production requirements.
• Follow work orders and adhere to production processes.
• Package finished parts for distribution.

Essential Skills

• Experience with machine operation and general production tasks.
• Ability to measure parts and operate saws and CNC machines.
• Understanding of carpentry and mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with the wood industry and treating wood products.
• Experience in reading orders and following production instructions.

Work Environment

You will work on a standing pad at your machine station throughout the shift. While the environment lacks air conditioning, fans are available to maintain comfort. The workspace is clean, though it may get warm, and requires the ability to lift 15-20 pound parts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
