Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.Job Description:The RoleAs a member of this team, you will be reporting to the Derivatives Manager and will support the operational activities for the various products managed by the team. You will use your industry expertise and collaborate with your team to complete trade confirmation, complete the lifecycle events associated with trades, execute margin calls, transfer collateral, research and resolve variances and be the first point of contact for business partners. Additionally, you will provide support for tactical, strategic, and regulatory projects for our growing derivatives capabilities!The Expertise and Skills You BringFour-year college degree in business or finance1-3 years of financial services work experience preferredYour collateral management and/or middle office experienceA multi-tasker with effective interpersonal skillsAttention to detail in following procedures and controls to ensure accurate and timely workThe ability to work in a small, tight-knit team daily to share responsibilitiesAbility to recognize and escalate high-risk items to minimize loss to either the shareholder and/or FidelityInnovation to come up with operational improvementsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Products (such as Word or Excel), and the ability to train on and work with different operating systemsCompleting trade confirmations and executing on lifecycle events associated with derivatives tradingExecuting daily margin calls, instructing, and confirming settlement of collateral, analyzing, researching, and resolving margin call and collateral variances with broker-dealers and custodian banksProviding reporting to key internal and external business partnersAdvancing problems which could have a potential impact on daily operationsAssisting in the development and review for new and/or changes to departmental policies and proceduresTesting and automating processes and workflows in a constantly evolving environmentThe TeamWe are the Derivatives team that is a business unit within Global Middle Office. We work with Fidelity's trading desks, global custodians, broker-dealers, and various internal and external business partners to support derivatives trade confirmation, lifecycle events, and collateral management for Fidelity managed funds. Core processing and services that the Derivatives Analyst will support includes legal trade confirmation, periodic payments, exchange traded futures collateral, centrally cleared collateral, OTC collateral, MSFTA collateral, settlements, reconciliation, and on-boarding of new products, funds, and broker-dealers. Fidelity’s Onsite Working ModelFidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
