This position will be located in Chandler, AZ or Roy, UT.This position will be telecommuter located in Chandler, Arizona. Candidate must live in AZ or be willing to relocate to AZ. Roy, UT will be onsite work.What You'll Get To Do:This position will require on-site major supplier surveillance and is a telecommuter position. In this position, the employee will be responsible for the quality of the products provided by the supplier. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's in Science degree and 8 or more years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 4 years experience.Experience developing, planning, and implementing quality methods and/or strategies for procured items to assure the design, procurement, acceptance, and use of procured items.Experience interfacing with suppliers, customers, work associates/teams, and/or management.Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 requirementsMust be able to travel up to 50% of the timeMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government DoD security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 requirements and lead auditor experience to these standards.Extensive experience working with aerospace/defense industry suppliers onsite.General experience with special processesExperience in root cause analysis and corrective actionSix Sigma or Lean certificationsDemonstrated written and verbal interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated knowledge of manufacturing/engineering experienceAbility to apply problem solving/critical thinking skills to support and resolve issues at the supply basePrimary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
