About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Full-time Nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours (6p-6:30a) Experience: Minimum years of experience preferred, but not required License: Current RN license Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Iowa RN license Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Description: To plan and provide total patient care through the nursing process. Conduct assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel. Maintain standards of professional nursing. Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures. Engage in continuing education to enhance nursing skills.
