Westward Route Hosts provide Radical Hospitality, tell the Mother Road story, and curate a memorable craft beer experience for guests while performing routine duties. Hosts oversee the safety of the Tap Room and protect Hospitality On 66's liquor license. Job Responsibilities Radical Hospitality Find ways to go above and beyond our guests' expectations Connect with guests by remembering their names, preferences, and stories Create community with regulars and welcome new guests Display exceptional conversation etiquette Craft Beer Experience Apply Mother Road Beer knowledge to guest's palates and preferences Basic draft maintenance and troubleshooting Assist in beer quality by removing beer with quality issues and completing quality control forms Tap Room Safety Monitor Tap Room speech and interactions for harassment and sexual violence Use ASBA Safer Bars training to curtail and de-escalate situations of harassment and sexual violence as an active bystander per Mother Road's Sexual Violence policy guidelines Deny access and service to intoxicated persons, safely removing intoxicated guests Adhering to Mother Road Policies; State & Federal Laws During Shift Mother Road Tap Room Way H66 Liquor Service Policy H66 Handbook H66 Employee and Guest Safety Protocol General Tap Room SOPs, Opening and Closing Lists Compliance with Arizona Title 4 Liquor Law, applicable Local and Federal Laws, and Coconino County Health Regulations. General Admin, Other Monitors Basecamp and provides daily shift update Attendance at monthly meeting, and other critical meetings as directed by Director of Hospitality All other tasks as assigned by the MOD or Director of Hospitality Minimum Qualifications Arizona Title 4 Basic Certification Coconino County Food Handler's Card ASBA Safer Bars Training Cicerone Certified Beer Server Required Abilities Able to maneuver 165lbs and team lift 165lbs Lift up to 35lbs independently from floor, at waist level, and above waist Able to stand for 10+ hours per day Able to twist, crouch, bend, and stoop multiple times per day Can understand and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and handle chemicals in a safe manner Position Host (Bartender) Full-Time/Part-Time This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
