L&D RN (Family Birthplace) - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, every other weekend required. Holidays are required as scheduled.

We are seeking a dedicated L&D RN for the Family Birthplace unit. This role requires providing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages. The L&D RN will work in a high-acuity environment, assisting with labor and deliveries, including high-risk cases and C-sections.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct triage for obstetrical patients.
• Support labor and delivery, including administering medications and monitoring fetal heart rate patterns.
• Provide postpartum care for both mother and baby.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN MD state license required.
• BLS, NRP certifications required; ACLS, STABLE, and AWHONN (Intermediate/Advanced) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery required; first-time travelers accepted.
• Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
