Warehouse Manager

Purpose and Scope The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing and leading multiple areas of the inbound and/or outbound warehouse operations to achieve company goals, including exceptional retailer service and outstanding operational efficiencies. Areas of responsibility could include but are not limited to Safety, Outbound, Inbound, Inventory, Data, Customer Service and Profiling. The Warehouse Manager will have direct reports of one or more Managers and 5 or more Supervisors. The Warehouse Manager will provide leadership, vision, insight, and motivation within their areas of responsibility and develop and implement short‑ and long‑term plans for all departments in accordance with Ace objectives and strategic plans. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the warehouse’s success. Primary Responsibilities and Activities Responsible for the overall operation of the inbound and outbound functions, including inventory control and building profiling/space utilization. Assist the Retail Support Manager in the strategic direction of the warehouse and communicate initiatives to subordinates effectively. Demonstrate and enforce an environment of safety, positive working relationships, quality and productivity. Provide input for annual budgets based on history and future company initiatives. Demonstrate knowledge of warehouse operations including inbound and outbound activities, inventory, data, customer service and profiling. Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term goals and objectives for all departments in line with Ace objectives. Create development opportunities for Managers and Supervisors and set an example through personal development. Support all safety programs and ensure best practice procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility. Ensure all headcount and labor hour goals of the warehouse are met. Create a positive employee relations environment that results in high‑performing teams. Maintain good working relationships between warehouse departments, traffic and human resources. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably in distribution. Demonstrated knowledge of productivity measurement tools. Preferred working knowledge of Ace policies and procedures. Previous experience managing exempt‑level Supervisors/Managers. Successful management experience involving multiple areas of responsibility. Compensation $120,200 - $155,000 per year Benefits 18 days of vacation immediately available (prorated in the first year) and up to 9 paid holidays depending on month of hire.
