Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client, addressing various mental health issues. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to craft and execute positive behavior support plans, integrating evidence-based approaches. \n
- Complete all necessary documentation promptly to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and licensing requirements. \n
- Serve as both a clinician and a liaison, fostering communication between clients, their families, and relevant community agencies. \n
- Participate actively in all licensing and accreditation activities, maintaining our standards of excellence. \n
- Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess client needs and progress, ensuring the most effective treatment strategies. \n
- Maintain strong relationships with local and state agencies, building partnerships and seeking funding opportunities for program development. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending relevant conferences and participating in statewide meetings. \n
- Align with and promote the organization’s mission and values in every aspect of service delivery. \n
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director that support the operational goals of Modern Psychotherapy. \n
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a broad spectrum of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to emotional distress, substance abuse issues, and developmental disabilities. Clients may range from children to adults, requiring personalized care plans that address their unique circumstances and needs. Your role will directly influence their recovery journeys and overall quality of life.

- A Master’s degree in a mental health-related field is mandatory. \n
- Possession of a valid, independent LMHC license in Massachusetts is required; support for licensure transfer is available for candidates licensed in other states. \n
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions is preferred. \n

- Previous experience in an outpatient setting or similar environment where you have worked with diverse populations. \n
- Familiarity with treatment modalities for substance use recovery and mental health disorders. \n
- Engagement in community outreach and partnership development is highly regarded. \n
