Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care Manchester, New Hampshire, United States About the job Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care Manchester, New Hampshire Contract Duration: 12 Weeks (March 9, 2026 – June 1, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,895.76 Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 40 Hours Guaranteed Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care hospital in Manchester, NH. The Physical Therapist will provide evaluation and treatment services to a diverse inpatient population, focusing on improving mobility, restoring function, and supporting patient recovery. This role involves working across multiple hospital units and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. The therapist will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Facility Information Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital Total Beds: 330 Department: Inpatient Physical Therapy Charting System: Sunrise Allscripts Dress Code: Scrubs (any color) Clinical Coverage Areas Therapists will provide care for patients in: Cardiac and vascular units Orthopedic cases General medical patients Emergency Department coverage (as needed) Diverse inpatient populations (excluding NICU) Key Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and functional mobility assessments Develop individualized treatment plans Deliver therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility interventions Manage approximately 10 patients per 8-hour shift Utilize rehab equipment such as parallel bars, ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, and Hoyer lifts Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation (Allscripts) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Educate patients and families on recovery and mobility strategies Required Qualifications Active New Hampshire Physical Therapist License BLS Certification Acute care experience required Strong clinical and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Vestibular therapy experience Experience with cardiac or orthopedic patient populations Familiarity with Allscripts EMR 40 hours guaranteed per week Monday – Friday primary schedule Flexible shift start time (7:00 AM – 8:00 AM start) 1 weekend shift per month required (self-scheduled) Floating required across inpatient units and Emergency Department (excluding NICU) Therapists typically assigned to 1–2 floors per day High patient volume with diverse clinical exposure Strong collaborative and experienced therapy team Compliance Requirements Candidates must complete all onboarding and compliance requirements including: Active state licensure verification BLS certification Skills checklist and competency validation Completion of orientation and facility onboarding Why Consider This Assignment Competitive weekly compensation Work in a large, diverse acute care hospital Exposure to a wide variety of patient diagnoses Flexible scheduling options Supportive and collaborative therapy team Opportunity to strengthen acute care and vestibular skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
