This .8 FTE position offers approximately 30 hours per week, spread over four days, providing excellent work-life balance and the chance to focus on comprehensive communication support for young learners. Ideal candidates are Speech Language Pathologists with experience in pediatric populations and schools, ready to provide dynamic, evidence-based services. CCCs are highly preferred as are professionals adept in AAC, ensuring all students have access to the communication tools they need to thrive.

Key Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure/certification for school-based SLP practice
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience supporting K-8 students, including evaluation and treatment planning
• Proficiency or familiarity with Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working 4 days/week (approx. 30 hours/week)

What You’ll Do:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-8
• Develop and implement effective IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Integrate AAC and other assistive technologies to support diverse communication needs
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state, federal, and school policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultative support within the school community
