Contract | Days (6:45 AM / 6:45 PM shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a high-risk and routine OB patient population across labor, delivery, and antepartum settings
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart monitoring using the OB Trace FHM system and document care using Meditech EMR
• Assist with and support procedures performed on the unit including C-sections, cerclages, and tubals
• Float to postpartum as needed based on unit census and staffing requirements
• Rotate weekends (every other weekend) and share holiday coverage with permanent staff
• Collaborate with in-house neonatology, OB hospitalists, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and lactation support available 24/7

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Intermediate level or above Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing ratios and guidelines
• Experience with Meditech EMR and OB Trace fetal monitoring systems
• Experience caring for antepartum patients requiring extended monitoring prior to delivery or discharge
