Full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerJOIN OUR TEAM AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!Our clinical team is seeking a Full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at our Beacon Clinic in Evansville, Indiana.ECHO Community Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center that provides quality healthcare to all members of our community, including the insured, uninsured, under-insured and homeless.We currently employ over 150 dedicated team members who truly embrace the mission of serving and making a difference in the lives of others in a positive, supportive and collaborative environment.We serve a population of approximately 15,000 and provide various clinical and community outreach services at six full time clinics. Provides care of acute and chronic mental illness for all ages. Works in collaboration with the Psychiatrist and ECHO Primary care providers in managing co-morbidities and mental illness. NO WEEKENDS! 13 PAID HOLIDAYS! (but we don't work any of them) BENEFITS AVAILABLE ON YOUR FIRST DAY! JOB SUMMARY: Provides care of acute and chronic mental illness for all ages. Works in collaboration with the Psychiatrist and ECHO Primary care providers in managing co-morbidities and mental illness.RequirementsGraduate of an accredited school of Advance Nurse Practice.Board Certified or Board Eligible (must pass boards within 12 months of date of hire)One to two years of experience treating patients with mental health and substance abuse issues is preferred.Ability to integrate services and provide care coordination.Ability to encourage client development, participation and optimal functioning.Ability to foster learning, clinical expertise and research among the clinical and professional staff.Ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages and various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds to provide cultural competent care.
