Driver

Our client, a leading organization in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Driver to join their team. As a Driver, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting delivery and logistical functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Driver

Location: Long Island City, NY

Pay Range: $22- $23 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday: 4:00 AM - 1:30 PM - OR -
Monday-Thursday: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM +Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Duration: temp-to-hire


What's the Job?

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials to client locations.
• Load and unload box trucks and delivery vans.
  Prepare deliveries by reading purchase orders and pulling required products.
• Assemble orders and transport products using dollies and hand trucks.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including stocking, organizing, and retrieving inventory.
• Perform general warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  Work in refrigerated and freezer environments as needed.

What's Needed?

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1+ years of previous delivery driving and logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments.
• Availability to work early morning shifts.
• Proper uniform including khaki pants, polo shirt, and non-slip shoes.
