Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on production support for Werum/Körber PAS-X Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve real-time MES issues impacting manufacturing operations, batch execution, and production workflows.
- Work directly with production operators and manufacturing teams to resolve system errors, workflow interruptions, and batch execution issues.
- Support electronic batch records (EBRs), batch status management, production orders, material tracking, and manufacturing transactions.
- Investigate MES application errors, failed transactions, interface issues, and data discrepancies affecting production.
- Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, issue documentation, and escalation to appropriate technical teams.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, IT, automation, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliant and timely issue resolution.
- Follow cGMP, data integrity, and site procedures while troubleshooting production issues in a validated manufacturing environment.
- Maintain accurate incident records, troubleshooting documentation, and shift handover notes.
- Provide onsite production support during the assigned night shift and ensure continuity of manufacturing operations.
- Support deviation investigations, CAPA, and change control activities as required.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions to improve MES reliability and minimize production downtime. Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with Werum/Körber PAS-X MES .
- Experience providing production support and troubleshooting in a live pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP/GMP requirements and regulated manufacturing processes.
- Experience with electronic batch records (EBRs), batch execution, and manufacturing workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot MES application errors and production-blocking issues.
- Experience working directly with manufacturing operators and production teams.
- Knowledge of incident management, root cause analysis, and issue escalation.
- Understanding of data integrity principles and validated computerized systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Melrose Park, IL, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
