Address: 543 North Street, New Bedford, MA Job Summary The Business Office Representative is the key contact for patients visiting Internal Medicine. The incumbent greets patients, processes forms and paperwork, and handles financial arrangements. Provides clerical support, performs extensive scheduling duties, and serves as liaison between patient and medical staff. Performs data entry, and other job‑related duties. Serve as liaison between patients and medical staff, facilitating seamless communication. Perform data entry and other duties as required by the office. Requirements Associate’s degree or at least two years of equivalent experience in a health‑care environment. Experience with EMR EPIC and knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology. Proficiency in word processing and other computer applications preferred. Excellent secretarial, interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in the English language.
