- High school diploma or equivalent or at least two years of experience in materials
- 1-3 years of required work experience
- MD DOT Aggregate Technician Certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Mine Safety and Health Administration Certificate (MSHA) or ability to obtain in 6 months
- Two years of post-secondary technical education or equivalent in experience
- Perform quality control tests for the specific product line
- Observe and enforce all Safety Standards, Advisories, and Policies
- Assist with the development and documentation of material control plans
- Perform service, repair, and calibration of laboratory and field testing equipment
- Provide troubleshooting guidance and advice for various customers
