Group Fitness Instructor - Club Pilates ClaytonBe a part of the rapidly growing boutique fitness industry and join the Riser Fitness Studio Team! With over 100 locations, Riser Fitness is one of the nation's largest and longest-standing multi-unit operators of the Club Pilates franchise system.Position OverviewRiser Fitness is seeking passionate and motivated fitness professionals to become Riser Pilates Trainers. This role provides hands-on experience, structured education, and personalized mentorship to prepare you to confidently lead Level 1 and 1.5 Pilates classes at Riser Fitness ran Club Pilates studios.You'll develop a strong foundation in Pilates principles, cueing, class design, and safe instruction—all while gaining real-world teaching experience in a supportive, team-based environment.What We're Looking ForMinimum Requirements:Current certification in a fitness, wellness, or health discipline (e.g., personal training, yoga, group fitness, dance, physical therapy, etc.)At least 2 years of experience teaching group fitness classesUnderstanding of movement mechanics, anatomy, and verbal cueing techniquesCommitment to completing a full Mat and Reformer Pilates certification through an approved program**Requirements may vary based on cohortYour ResponsibilitiesTraining Components:Attend 6 in-studio training days (additional days may be required)Attend 1 in studio test outParticipate in virtual education and mentorship sessionsComplete the following practice hours:Observation: 5–10 hoursSelf-Practice: 5–10 hoursPractice Teaching: 10+ hoursAssessment Requirements:Pass a written exam (score of 85% or higher) covering:Cueing & flow structureInjury awareness & contraindicationsCore Pilates teaching principlesTeach a portion of a group Reformer Pilates class demonstrating:Effective pacing and transitionsUse of PEACE RR cueing methodologyProper safety modifications and professionalismConfident and engaging class deliveryPost-Training ExpectationsShould be available to regularly teach at least 8 in-studio classes per week at a Riser Fitness owned Club Pilates locationAttend A Riser Fitness hosted Club Pilates Teacher Training Program (full scholarship will be granted).Why Become a Pilates TrainerHands-on training and real teaching experienceCareer mentorship and growth opportunitiesA dynamic, inclusive, and supportive studio culturePathway to full Pilates certification and long-term successAdditional Benefits May Include:A full-ride scholarship will be awarded — covering the entire $5,000 cost — for the Comprehensive Teacher Training Program.Health Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffComplimentary Pilates classesRoom for advancement within Riser Fitness
