You'll contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact how we serve our Personal Insurance customers while building valuable expertise in one of the industry's leading CRM platforms.What Will You Do?Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce solutions that drive Personal Insurance digital transformationProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, promoting best practices and code quality standardsCollaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to define technical approaches and solution strategiesDrive code reviews, establish testing strategies, and ensure adherence to development standards across the teamTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, providing expert-level problem-solvingIdentify opportunities for technical innovation, process improvement, and platform optimizationContribute to technical roadmaps and influence architectural decisions for Salesforce implementationsCreate and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and knowledge-sharing resourcesWhat Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?6+ years of software engineering experience with proven expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-scale applicationsSalesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce APIs, integration patterns) strongly preferred but not required for candidates with exceptional engineering fundamentals and commitment to rapidly developing Salesforce expertiseDemonstrated expertise in database design, optimization, and working with complex data modelsTrack record of leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teamsExperience making architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, security, and maintainabilityProven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutionsStrong experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practicesExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Salesforce)Background in leading technical projects from conception through production deploymentWhat is a Must Have?Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.6 additional years of software engineering experience.What Is in It for You?Health Insurance: Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, domestic partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment.Retirement: Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
