Quality Inspector- Howell, MichiganPosition(s) Start Monday, August 24, 2026Pay Rate: $18.00 per hourAvailable Shift:1st SHIFT - Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (some weekends required)Job Specific Details:This is a physically demanding project - Visual inspection for paint defects, porosity issues, and seating issues of wheel liners. May be required to shim to verify proper seating, verify the presence of stamp information on part. Parts weigh from 10-17 pounds each. This position requires bending and lifting as bins are located on the floor, and Inspector must bend down and pick up each part to properly inspect each part.Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds continuously throughout the duration of the shiftMust be able to start immediatelyMust have reliable transportationMust be able to stand for long hoursAble to read and writeMust have steel toe shoes/boots - REQUIREDSummary of the Quality Inspector:Inspect parts per written instruction supplied by customer or CER Management as effectively and efficiently as possibleEssential Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:Inspects designated materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual or dimensional inspection; rejecting and recording unacceptable materialsDocuments inspection results by completing reports and logsMaintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulationsEducation and Experience requirements of the Quality Inspector:High School Diploma / GED preferredPrevious inspection experience preferredA successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
