Regional Finance Director - Monroe, OH

Join our client, a leading, growth-oriented construction organization where you'll serve as a key financial partner to regional leadership in Monroe, OH. Reporting to the CFO, this role is responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, project analysis, and operational decision support across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and strategic financial planning processes
• Manage quarterly forecasts, scenario planning, and performance analysis
• Partner with project teams to ensure accurate forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting
• Monitor accounts receivable, billings, and cash flow performance

Financial Analysis & Project Support

• Provide actionable insights on project performance, profitability, pricing, and resource allocation
• Analyze market, customer, and operational trends to support business decisions
• Support capital investment evaluations and strategic initiatives

Reporting & Controls

• Lead regional financial reporting and budget-to-actual analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Support month-end close activities and maintain reporting accuracy
• Leverage ERP systems and Power BI to improve reporting and decision-making

Leadership

• Develop, mentor, and lead finance team members
• Partner closely with operations and executive leadership to drive business performance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and financial best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Construction Management, or related field
• 10+ years of finance/accounting experience, including 5+ years in a project-based or construction environment
• Strong understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, and GAAP
• Experience supporting multi-location operations and cross-functional teams
• ERP experience required; Vista experience preferred
• Power BI experience preferred
• CPA, MBA, or other advanced certifications are a plus
