Service Writer

Seeking Service Writer in Dallas, TX for a contract opportunity. The Service Writer (Service Consultant) serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. He or she receives the inbound customer inquiry (either in person, via phone call or email) understands the complaint, comes up with the estimate while collaborating routing and dispatching with the service department, then they present the estimate, make negotiations for the final amount and address any changes in cost or timing. Mechanical aptitude, customer service, and selling ability is important.

Required Skills & Experience
• Automotive, truck, fleet maintenance, or dealership experience.
• Knowledge of repair processes, maintenance schedules, and vehicle systems.
• Experience working with technicians, parts departments, and warranty programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.
