Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room / Med Surg

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for inpatient, observation, and swing bed patients in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• Deliver care to outpatients presenting for infusions or scheduled treatments
• Assess and treat patients presenting to the emergency room
• Rotate between the Emergency Room and Med Surg units as needed
• Utilize computerized charting and barcode medication scanning via Epic

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience required
• Ability to work in both the Emergency Room and Med Surg settings
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Compliance with facility badge-in and badge-out requirements
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of Med Surg and/or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Familiarity with barcode medication administration processes
