Senior Accountant Manufacturing & Cost

About the Role: Aviso, LLC is looking for a sharp and driven Senior Accountant with a focus on Manufacturing & Cost to join our team in Fremont, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in financial operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold (COGS) Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to manufacturing operations Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods Partner with operations and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning for manufacturing activities Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and controls Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred 3–5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on manufacturing and cost accounting Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills Solid understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders About Us: Aviso, LLC is a forward-thinking company based in Fremont, CA, committed to operational excellence and financial integrity in the manufacturing space.
