About the Role FedPoint, a subsidiary of John Hancock Life & Health Insurance Company, is a leading third‑party insurance administrator that operates digital benefits marketplaces for federal and military customers. We are seeking a Claims Processor to review, adjudicate, and manage claims with precision while providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Claim Analysis & Adjudication (80%) – Scrutinize invoices to ensure completeness and accuracy, collaborate with claimants, providers, and internal teams to resolve issues, and enter data into claims processing systems. Communication & Correspondence (10%) – Engage with internal teams and providers to clarify claim issues, draft professional communications to claimants, address customer complaints, identify potential fraud, and report compliance concerns. Compensation Salary range: $20.86–$28.22 per hour; most new hires start between the minimum and the midpoint based on qualifications and experience. Position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus plan and includes the full suite of corporate benefits. Qualifications High school education required. Preferred: experience processing claims in healthcare, disability, dental, or long‑term care environments, or prior insurance operations experience. Demonstrated computer proficiency, strong keyboard and navigation skills. Location & Schedule Portsmouth, NH – Hybrid model with 2 days in office. Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Training hours: 9:00 am–5:00 pm; flexible schedules may be selected after training is completed. Benefits 401(k) plan – 100% match of employee contributions up to 6% of salary, vests immediately.
