School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Torrance, California

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting IEP assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and working alongside other school professionals to support student success. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates will be considered Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and compliance Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Key Responsibilities: Complete IEP assessments and contribute to meetings Carry out direct and consultative therapy services for elementary-age students Manage a manageable, flexible caseload based on student needs Facilitate the smooth transfer of responsibilities and caseload from current SLP Communicate progress and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families This role is perfect for professionals passionate about empowering childrens development within an inclusive educational community.
