Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call Required | Expected 36–48 hours/week based on facility approval

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track bays, and 5 behavioral health rooms
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients
• Perform and assist with procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, and airway support
• Utilize rapid infusers (Belmont and Level 1), Alaris pumps, and Stryker stretchers; document care using MEDITECH EMR
• Provide behavioral health de-escalation and support resuscitation efforts as needed
• Maintain required certifications including ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• Active ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to work rotating weekends

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDITECH EMR
• Trauma experience in an emergency or acute care setting
• Experience holding inpatient patients within the ED
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
