Job Summary The Lead Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with schedule and quality expectations. This role serves as the primary on-site coordinator, working closely with trade partners and internal teams to drive project progress. The Lead Superintendent plays a key role in team leadership, field coordination, and execution consistency, while building the foundational skills required for progression into senior-level field leadership roles. Responsibilities Project Execution & Coordination Oversee daily construction activities from project startup through completion Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with project leadership Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections to maintain project flow Assist in forecasting labor, materials, and equipment needs Adjust on-site operations as needed to meet schedule and budget goals Field Operations & Quality Monitor construction progress and ensure work meets quality standards and specifications Track and resolve inspection deficiencies using Procore Support enforcement of building codes, safety requirements, and project plans Assist in development and execution of site logistics plans Safety & Compliance Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards Identify and elevate safety concerns as needed Team Leadership Lead and support field team members and trade partners on-site Conduct 1:1 check-ins to support development and performance Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment Stakeholder Coordination Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors Support communication with internal teams and external partners Assist with site readiness for leasing and marketing activities Project Support Activities Participate in maintaining procurement logs and tracking materials Coordinate logistics related to material storage and installation Support value engineering efforts and cost-saving initiatives Requirements Experience: 4+ years of construction experience with on-site responsibilities Experience in multifamily or similar construction environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred Experience with Procore or similar tools OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Experience leading small teams or scopes of work preferred Exposure to project scheduling and resource planning preferred Familiarity with building codes and construction best practices preferred Competencies: Ownership Mindset – Takes responsibility for assigned areas and follows through on commitments Teamwork – Collaborates effectively with field teams and trade partners Work Ethic – Demonstrates reliability and strong execution in daily responsibilities Integrity – Acts with honesty and accountability Passion – Shows commitment to delivering quality work and continuous improvement Compensation and Benefits for Lead Superintendent: Pay Range: $121,300 - $148,300 Roers offers a comprehensive benefits & perks package to full-time employees which may include: Health Plans - Medical, dental, vision, FSA, and HSA Family Leave - Paid birth & bonding leave Employer Paid Benefits - Basic life insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), and short-term disability Additional Voluntary Benefits – Life Insurance, AD&D, long-term disability, critical illness, and accident insurance 401(K) - 3% company contribution, 100% vested after 2 years of employment Competitive PTO - 3 weeks of PTO with immediate accrual, 9 paid holidays, 1 floating holiday, and bereavement Health and Wellness - fitness membership reimbursement program Free stays in Roers’ properties guest suites Rent Discount - 20% discount for employees living in Roers Companies properties Employee Referral Bonus Program - $2,500 referral bonus paid once referred candidate completes 60 days of employment Charitable Match Program – Roers matches employee donations to charitable organizations Professional Development Opportunities Employee Assistance Programs Roers Companies is focused on building a workforce that is diverse and inclusive.
