Full Stack Engineer

We're a small, ambitious team building deeply technical infrastructure in a highly regulated, high-stakes industry. At this early stage, we're looking for engineers who see the opportunity in shaping a complex product from the ground up. If you thrive on crafting fast, expressive interfaces and care deeply about usability, performance, and polish, this could be the right environment for you.

You:

• Care about the full stack, but specialize in the last mile. You know CSS like the back of your hand and integrate seamlessly with backend systems.
• Have strong product instincts. You think in flows, not just components, and are motivated by user clarity, trust, and intuitive design.
• Embrace constraints. Building in a regulated, complex domain excites you and pushes you to design for clarity.
• Push your tools to the limit, writing performant, maintainable, and type-safe code.
• Work autonomously with real impact—comfortable iterating quickly with design, PMs, and other engineers.
• Love strong typing. We use TypeScript across the stack and rely on it for correctness, clarity, and iteration speed.

We are not:

• Building a simple CRUD app. The problems we're tackling require deep technical investment and first-principles thinking.
• An "LLM wrapper." We use modern tools—including optimization and programming language research—but don't rely on one hammer for every nail.
• An easy place to coast. The work is difficult, ambiguous, and often requires solving problems you've never seen before.

We are:

• A small team where every line of code must be high leverage.
• Generalists who dive into whatever needs solving.
• Builders in a regulated environment, where "move fast and break things" is not an option.

• Title: Full Stack Engineer

• TypeScript (frontend + backend)
• Web Components & React

• Nx build system
• PostgreSQL
• AWS (CDK for infrastructure)
• NestJS backend

What You'll Do:

• Build and own core workflows that define the product's user experience
• Collaborate closely with design and backend to ship high-impact features
• Bring structure and polish to complex forms and workflows
• Write clean, typed code that balances speed and maintainability
• Help evolve the frontend architecture as we grow
• Advocate for consistency and usability across the interface
• Contribute to the evolution of our APIs
