This is your chance to work on complex machinery, hone your skills, and be part of a reputable employer that values your expertise from day one.What You'll Do:Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble AC electric motors, gearboxes, and brakes.Diagnose motor issues such as bearing wear, winding damage, and component failures.Repair and rebuild industrial fans, blowers, and pumps efficiently.Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper protective gear.Use specialized tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot and ensure motors operate at peak performance.Assist with field service calls and routine maintenance tasks.Participate in safety meetings, ongoing training, and skill development activities.Keep work areas organized and maintain a ready supply of tools and supplies.Perform occasional crane operations and other skilled duties as directed.Your Skills & Qualifications:Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving expertise.Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to safety procedures.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.Own your tools or participate in our tool buyback program.Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.Nice-to-Have Skills:Technical school training in mechanics or related fields.Experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or repair environments.Familiarity with electrical testing and DC motors.Basic computer skills for documentation.OSHA 10 certification.Tow motor operation and welding experience.Preferred Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience with AC/DC motors, industrial equipment, or maintenance is a plus.Additional Requirements:Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly.Must have good vision, including color vision, with or without correction.Willingness to join an on-call rotation after training.Physical dexterity for detailed assembly and repair work.Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.What We Offer:Competitive hourly wages starting at $25/hour, with opportunities up to $35/hour based on experience.Benefits starting on day one, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.On-the-job training, mentorship, and career development pathways.A stable, supportive work environment with growth opportunities.PTO, VTO, tuition reimbursement, bonuses, and a steel toe boot program.Work Environment: Based in Cleveland, OH, this role primarily involves in-shop work, with occasional off-site projects.
